The Best Investment You
Can Make Is In Yourself.

I’m an out-of-network provider—which means I don’t bill insurance directly.

Why? Because working outside the insurance system allows us to focus on you—not a checklist, spending hours pleading with insurance to cover another session and depending on a system that ends care while you still need it.

This ensures the best possible clinical work and results.

Paying out of pocket means:

  • No rushed sessions.

  • No generic treatment plans that don’t work.

  • Meaningful, customized therapy where we actually have the space to go deep and do the real work without insurance dictating how we use our time during sessions.

  • No abruptly ending treatment because the insurance company decided you “no longer need therapy” (aka they just don’t want to pay for it.)

You’re not a diagnosis code. You deserve therapy that’s built around your needs—not insurance limitations.

You are welcome to use your HSA/FSA card, and I’m happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

Out Of Network Benefits

In many cases, clients with PPO insurance plans may be eligible to use their out-of-network insurance benefits. You will be responsible for paying each session in full at the time of the appointment. Upon your request, I can provide a receipt ("Superbill") that you can submit to your insurance for partial reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance directly and ask them how to send the Superbills to them. Once you submit the Superbills, you will wait for reimbursement via check. I have partnered with Thrizer to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy.

If you would like me to check your out of network benefits please email me a photo of the front and back of your insurance card and your date of birth. This benefit is available for PPO plans only.

The Importance of Investing in Therapy for Moms: Pregnancy, Postpartum, and Parenting

Motherhood is a complex, emotional rollercoaster. Women face a whirlwind of changes—physical, emotional, and psychological. Whether you’re navigating pregnancy stress, dealing with postpartum depression or anxiety, or struggling to balance it all while parenting a young child, investing in therapy is one of the most powerful steps you can take toward self-care and mental health.

Moms are under constant pressure to balance it all—taking care of your baby, your partner, your career, and still somehow maintain your own well-being. But here’s the thing: You can’t pour from an empty cup. Therapy offers a judgment-free space where you can talk openly about your struggles, receive support, and develop coping strategies that work for you.

Therapy is Essential for Pregnant Women

Pregnancy is an exciting time, but it’s also filled with emotional and physical challenges. Hormonal shifts, changes in your body, and the anticipation of bringing a new baby into the world can trigger feelings of stress and anxiety. You worry about the future, experience mood swings, or feel disconnected from yourself as you adjust to these changes. Therapy for pregnant moms supports you in navigating these emotions by offering tools to manage stress, anxiety, and any fears you have about the pregnancy or the future.

Investing in therapy during pregnancy can also help you set the foundation for a healthier, more grounded transition into motherhood. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and taking the time to care for your emotional well-being before the baby arrives sets you up for a smoother more regulated postpartum experience.

The Powerful Impact of Therapy for Postpartum Moms

The postpartum period is often romanticized, but the truth is, it can be an incredibly challenging and isolating time for new moms. Whether it’s the physical recovery from childbirth, sleepless nights, or adjusting to life with a newborn, postpartum depression and anxiety are real, and they’re more common than many people realize. Postpartum therapy provides moms with the emotional support they need to work through these feelings.

Therapy can help you address postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, mom guilt, and feelings of overwhelm. Together, we’ll explore the root causes of your struggles, develop personalized coping strategies, and work toward reconnecting with yourself as a mother and as an individual. Therapy during this time is an investment in your mental health, which ultimately supports your baby’s well-being and the overall health of your family.

Parenting and Mental Health: Why Therapy is Key

Once the baby arrives, life becomes a marathon of feeding schedules, diaper changes, and adjusting to your new role as a mom. But parenting is more than just the logistics of raising a child—it’s about maintaining your emotional health while navigating the inevitable challenges of raising a family.

Parenting therapy offers you the space to talk about the stress of balancing work, family, and your own needs. It’s a place to explore the challenges of maintaining a relationship with your partner, the isolation that can come with motherhood, and how to cope with the emotional weight of parenting burnout. Through therapy, you’ll learn to prioritize your own needs, set healthy boundaries, and develop strategies for managing the ups and downs of everyday life as a mom. Counseling helps to ensure your needs don’t get lost so you are able to enjoy the parts of Motherhood you love.

Investing in therapy during the parenting phase also helps you better connect with your child. Happy moms = happy families, and when you invest in yourself, you’re investing in your family.

Therapy is an Investment in Your Family’s Future

As a mom, prioritizing your mental health is crucial not just for you, but for the health and wellbeing of your entire family. When you invest in therapy, you’re not just helping yourself—you’re helping your partner, children, and everyone around you by becoming a more balanced, empowered version of yourself. Therapy offers you the tools to build resilience, set boundaries, and create a more supportive environment at home.

You deserve to have the space to heal, process, and thrive. Therapy provides the support needed to not only survive the emotional chaos of motherhood, but to thrive within it.
